Distance Teaching
Three Rivers Professional Day - 1/18/2001
On-line information sources
- Lecture notes may or may not adapt well to on-line presentation
- I find that my notes are often too complete: Students are put off by the bulk of info and may think it is all equally relevant.
- Anecdotes, examples, summaries and re-phrases often work well in on-line lessons.
- The students are connected to the World Wide Web. There actually may be sources of information on-line. How can students search, sort and evaluate?
How would you learn something you wanted to know?
